Following a stint down at Bournemouth as CFI, Phil has instructed at Old Sarum for a decade or more. I’m sorry to announce that the tedious journey to Salisbury from Lee on Solent where he lives has caused him to resign from our staff at GoFly. Regrettably we shall no longer benefit from his considerable experience and expertise as an instructor though he will be available for Skill Tests.
On the latter subject students should be aware that with the new EASA regulations, examiners may not test any student with whom they’ve previously given instruction. So if your “regular instructor” is not available, avoid flying with an instructor who might be the examiner at a later date!
