Ben has been aviating in various guises ever since 1998, and has been flying at Old Sarum since 2006. In previous roles he has been a survey pilot, charter pilot and aeromedical repatriation captain. His favourite aircraft flown to date include the Cessna Bird Dog, Piper Cub, PA-31 Chieftain and the mighty Tiger Moth.
He plans one day to circumnavigate the globe in his very own light aircraft, and also to finally see all members of Pink Floyd play live; although he does acknowledge that Pink Floyd may never get back together. In his spare time Ben is a freelance writer.
