The White Horses of Wiltshire

For centuries the inhabitants of Wiltshire have carved great white horses into the slopes of the rolling chalk downs above their settlements. Many are still there. There are visible from the ground but there is simply no better way to appreciate their grandeur and mystery than from the open cockpit.

The GoFly White Horses Experience takes you up from the historic airfield of Old Sarum northwards up the Avon valley and across Salisbury plains to the White Horses of Yatesbury, Devizes, Marlborough and the surrounding areas. The experience takes around an hour and by the end of it you’ll never again look at these mysterious carvings in quite the same way.
